    Nov. 29 Rutgers 41, at Maryland 38 And You Care Because … Maryland was rolling right along to an easy home win, getting out 35-10 in the first half helped

    And You Care Because … Maryland was rolling right along to an easy home win, getting out 35-10 in the first half helped by two Brandon Ross touchdown runs, a 71-yard scoring play to Amba Etta-Tawo, and a nine-yard Deon Long touchdown catch, but all of a sudden, Rutgers got a little ray of light with nine seconds to play on a one-yard touchdown catch from Andre Patton. That started a 31-3 run and a wild comeback with Gary Nova throwing three touchdown passes on the game with Patton catching a ten-yarder early in the fourth to tie it up, and Kyle Federico came through with a 25-yard field goal for the lead and the win with just over six minutes to play. 
    What Else? Rutgers QB Gary Nova completed 28-of-42 passes for 347 yards and four scores 
    – Maryland RB Brandon Ross ran 10 times for 108 yards and two scores. QB C.J. Brown completed 14-of-24 passes for 195 yards and two scores, and ran 14 times for 107 yards and a score 
    – Rutgers WR Janarion Grant caught eight passes for 105 yards, Leonte Carroo caught six passes for 104 yards and two scores, and Andre Patton caught eight passes for 101 yards and two touchdowns 
    – Total yards: Rutgers 491 – Maryland 476

    Nov. 28 Nebraska 37, at Iowa 34 OT 
    And You Care Because … Nebraska tied it on a 20-yard field goal with eight seconds to play, Iowa took the lead in overtime on a 25-yard Marshall Koehn field goal, and the Huskers responded with a nine-yard Tommy Armstrong pass to Kenny Bell for the win. Down 24-7 late in the third, the Huskers roared back with Armstrong finding Bell on a 32-yard scoring pass and Taariq Allen for a 34-yard touchdown, but it was an 80-yard punt return for a touchdown from De’Mornay Pierson-El to take the lead in the fourth. Iowa took back the lead late on a five-yard Jordan Canzeri touchdown catch with 1:49 to play, but Nebraska marched back quickly to force the extra time. 
    What Else? Nebraska RB Ameer Abdullah ran 13 times for 106 yards, and caught two passes for 13 yards and a score 
    – Iowa QB Jake Rudock completed 19-of-38 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns with a pick 
    – Nebraska QB Tommy Armstrong completed 12-of-27 passes for 202 yards and four scores with two picks, and ran 11 times for 31 yards 
    – Tim of possession: Iowa 37:36 – Nebraska 22:24

    Nov. 29 at Indiana 23, Purdue 16 
    And You Care Because … Zander Diamont ran for a one-yard score with 27 seconds to play to give Indiana the win and complete the fourth quarter comeback. Purdue turned the ball over four times, but the defense held on, for the most part, forcing three Griffin Oakes field goals, but it also gave up a 41-yard Shane Wynn touchdown dash. Purdue’s offense moved the ball, but it had to settle for three Paul Griggs field goals. The Boilermakers took a 13-3 lead in the third on an Akeem Hunt 82-yard run, but it was IU over the final 25 minutes going on a 20-3 run. 
    What Else? Indiana RB Tevin Coleman ran 29 times for 130 yards 
    – Purdue RB Akeem Hunt ran 19 times for 171 yards and a score 
    – Indiana QB Zander Diamont completed 15-of-24 passes for 119 yards, and ran 11 times for 34 yards and a touchdown 
    – Turnovers: Purdue 4 – Indiana 2

    Nov. 29 at Wisconsin 34, Minnesota 24 
    And You Care Because … After a rocky start – getting down 17-3 with Mitch Leidner and David Cobb each running for scores – Wisconsin controlled things the rest of the way going on a 31-7 scoring run with Melvin Gordon catching a four-yard touchdown pass and running for a one-yard score, and Joel Stave putting the game away on a 17-yard touchdown pass to Robert Wheelwright after Leidner brought the Gophers to within three in the fourth on a two-yard Leidner run. Corey Clement added a 28-yard touchdown run for the Badgers and Rafael Gaglianone nailed field goals from 24 and 38 yards away. 
    What Else? Before suffering an apparent ankle injury late, Wisconsin RB Melvin Gordon ran 29 times for 151 yards and a score, and caught two passes for four yards with a touchdown 
    – Minnesota RB David Cobb ran 25 times for 118 yards and two scores 
    – Wisconsin WR Alex Erickson caught five passes for 160 yards 
    – Minnesota QB Mitch Leidner completed 5-of-18 passes for 95 yards, and ran 15 times for 54 yards and two scores

    Nov. 29 at Ohio State 42, Michigan 28 
    And You Care Because … Ohio State won the rivalry, but it lost its star as QB J.T. Barrett got carted off the field with a leg injury. The rest of the Buckeyes stepped up when needed, with Ezekiel Elliott breaking a 21-21 tie with a two-yard touchdown run, and busted out a 44-yard scoring dash on 4th-and-1 to get some breathing room. Darron Lee put it away on a 33-yard Devin Gardner fumble return for a touchdown. The Wolverines fought hard all game, controlling the clock with three good touchdown drives with Drake Johnson running for two short scores and Gardner finding Jake Butt for a 12-yard score, but Barrett was terrific with a six-yard touchdown pass to Nick Vannett and two scoring runs before getting hurt. 
    What Else? Ohio State QB J.T. Barrett completed 13-of-21 passes for 176 yards and a score, and ran 15 times for 89 yards before getting hurt. 
    – Michigan QB Devin Gardner completed 22-of-32 passes 233 yards and two touchdowns with a pick, and ran 14 times for 21 yards 
    – Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott ran 17 times for 121 yards and two scores 
    – Time of possession: Michigan 34:05 – Ohio State 25:55

    Nov. 29 Illinois 47, at Northwestern 33 
    And You Care Because … Illinois shocked Northwestern with a 19-0 first half lead helped by a Malik Turner ten-yard touchdown catch and a one-yard Josh Ferguson run. Northwestern couldn’t stop turning the ball over, giving it away five times, but it got a spark in the second quarter on an 89-yard Solomon Vault return for a score. Justin Jackson touchdown runs from five and 35 yards away pulled the Wildcats to within five in the fourth, but the Illini answered right back with a 46-yard Josh Ferguson touchdown run and a 49-yard pick six from Mason Monheim. 
    What Else? Turnovers: Northwestern 5 – Illinois 1 
    – Illinois QB Reilly O’Toole completed 17-of-28 passes for 147 yards and three touchdowns with three touchdowns and a pick and ran 21 times for a team-high 147 yards 
    – Northwestern RB Justin Jackson ran 24 times for 130 yards and two touchdowns, and caught three passes for 46 yards. QB Zack Oliver completed 23-of-38 passes for 221 yards and a score with three interceptions 
    – Illinois RB Josh Ferguson ran 15 times for 95 yards and two touchdowns, and caught two passes for 37 yards

    Nov. 29 Michigan State 34, at Penn State 10 
    And You Care Because … Michigan State started things off with a kickoff return for a score from R.J. Shelton, and coasted from there. The offense didn’t really work, but it controlled the game and the clock with Jeremy Langford running for two touchdowns, and Michael Geiger hitting two first quarter field goals. Penn State got on the board with a 41-yard Sam Ficken field goal in the second quarter, but didn’t get into the end zone until late in the third on a three-yard Akeel Lynch run – it was too late. Langford put it well out of reach late in the fourth on his second scoring run. 
    What Else? Michigan State RB Jeremy Langford ran 30 times for 118 yards and two scores
    – Penn State QB Christian Hackenberg completed 21-of-45 passes for 195 yards and a pick
    – Michigan State QB Connor Cook completed 13-of-25 passes for 180 yards and a score with a pick 
    – Total yards: Michigan State 298 – Penn State 233
