    Nov. 28 Navy 42, at South Alabama 40 
    And You Care Because … Down 15 with just over eight minutes to play, South Alabama rallied on a 48-yard Brandon Bridge touchdown pass to Shavarez Smith with just over five minutes to play, and came up with a ten-yard touchdown pass to Jereme Jones with 39 seconds to play to pull within two, but the two-point conversion attempt failed after two penalties. The Jaguars had a 17-7 lead in the first quarter helped by Smith’s three-yard touchdown grab, but Navy roared back with the first of Keenan Reynolds’ three touchdown runs scoring on a 67-yard dash and with two one-yard runs, taking the lead for good midway through the fourth on the final Reynolds score. The South Alabama D held late, and the offense stepped up until the two-point conversion misfire.
    What Else? Navy RB Keenan Reynolds ran ten times for 119 yards and three scores and completed 1-of-4 passes for 42 yards 
    – South Alabama RB Terrance Timmons ran 15 times for 124 
    – Navy RB Noah Copeland ran 17 times for 112 yards and two scores 
    – Third down conversions: South Alabama 10-of-18 – Navy 4-of-10

    Nov. 29 BYU 42, at California 35 
    And You Care Because … Jordan Leslie caught a 38-yard touchdown pass with just under three minutes to play to break a 35-35 tie to give BYU the lead for good, and to ruin Cal’s bowl hopes. Cougar QB Christian Stewart threw five touchdown passes, also finding Leslie for an 83-yarder early in the fourth, while Cal’s Jared Goff threw for almost 400 yards with four touchdowns to keep up the pace. Cal had one final shot, but the drive stalled at the BYU 14 in the final seconds. Goff primarily worked with Kenny Lawler on touchdown passes from nine and 16 yards out and made a one-yard grab for his final scoring play of the first half, But Stewart kept pressing – neither team was ever up by more than one score. 
    What Else? BYU QB Christian Stewart completed 23-of-38 passes for 433 yards and five scores and an interception 
    – California QB Jared Goff completed 38-of-60 passes for 393 yards and four touchdowns with an interception 
    – California WR Kenny Lawler caught 12 passes for 138 yards and three touchdowns 
    – BYU WR Jordan Leslie caught five passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns, and Mitchell Juergens caught seven passes for 107 yards and two scores

    Nov. 29 at USC 49, Notre Dame 14 
    And You Care Because … USC exploded with Cody Kessler throwing six touchdown passes, including two to George Farmer in the first quarter from 48 and 31 yards out, and a nine-yarder to Randall Telfer for a nine-yard touchdown on the way to a 49-7 lead. The Trojans got up 35-0 before Notre Dame finally got into the end zone on an 11-yard Malik Zaire touchdown run. The Irish got its second score on a one-yard Greg Bryant run, but that was it – USC took its foot off the gas. Kessler also threw touchdown passes to Adoree Jackson from 16 yards out, Darreus Rogers from six yards away, and Nelson Agholor from 14 yards out. 
    What Else? USC QB Cody Kessler completed 32-of-40 passes for 372 yards and six touchdowns 
    – USC WR Nelson Agholor caught 12 passes for 120 yards and a score 
    – Notre Dame QB Everett Golson completed 7-of-18 passes for 75 yards and a pick. Malik Zaire completed 9-of-20 passes for 170 yards and ran six times for 18 yards and a touchdown 
    – Time of possession: USC 37:39 – Notre Dame 22:21
