    And You Care Because … Just when it seemed like Wyoming was going to break New Mexico’s heart, with Stuart Williams hitting a 29-yard field goal with just over two minutes to play for a 30-28 lead, Carlos Wiggins came back with a 97-yard kickoff return for a score on the ensuing play. The Lobos got two huge touchdowns on a 75-yard Tyler Duncan catch and a 69-yard Jhurell Pressley run, but Wyoming roared back with Shaun Wick and Brian Hill each running for scores and Stuart Williams hitting two field goals, but Wiggins stole the show.

    – Wyoming QB Colby Kirkegaard completed 21-of-43 passes for 366 yards and a score with a pick, and Brian Hill ran 29 times for 163 yards and a score 
    – New Mexico QB Jhurell Pressley ran 11 times for 101 yards and a touchdown

    Nov. 28 at Air Force 27, Colorado State 24 
    And You Care Because … Air Force stunned Colorado State and ruined a possible dream season with a 39-yard Will Conant field goal as time expired. The Falcons had a 24-10 lead late in the third quarter after Nate Romine gave the team its third short scoring run of the game, but Colorado State roared back with Garrett Grayson finding Xavier Williams for a 76-yard touchdown and Rashard Higgins for a two-yard score. But after coming up with a fourth down stop, Air Force had one last chance with 38 seconds remaining with Romine finding Garrett Brown for a 26-yard pass to set up the game-winning field goal. 
    What Else? Air Force QB Nate Romine completed 6-of-15 passes for 135 yards, and ran 25 times for a team-high 61 yards 
    – Colorado State WR Rashard Higgins caught 12 passes for 193 yards and two scores 
    – Colorado State RB Dee Hart ran 23 times for 115 yards 
    – Colorado State QB Garrett Grayson completed 23-of-46 passes for 366 yards and three scores with a pick 
    Game Rating: B+ 

    Nov. 29 at Fresno State 28, Hawaii 21 
    And You Care Because … Fresno State hung on late and took the West division as Brian Burrell ran for a score and Martez Waller ran for two touchdowns on the way to a 28-0 lead in the first half. The offense started to stall, and Hawaii heated up with 21 unanswered points in the fourth on three Ikaika Woolsey touchdown passes, with the final one to Quinton Pedroza from two yards out with 45 seconds to play. The Aztecs held on. 
    What Else? Penalties: Hawaii 10 for 76 yards – Fresno State 9 for 69 yards 
    – Fresno State RB Marteze Waller ran 25 times for 137 yards and two scores 
    – Hawaii QB Ikaika Woolsey completed 22-of-39 passes for 247 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions, and ran 17 times for 15 yards 
    – Fresno State QB Brian Burrell completed 19-of-32 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions

    Nov. 29 Nevada 49, at UNLV 27 
    And You Care Because … Nevada overcame a 17-7 deficit with takeaways from the defense and big plays from Cody Fajardo. The Wolf Pack quarterback ran for a 25-yard touchdown to start out the scoring, and added three touchdown passes to go along with a Lenny Jones pick-six on the way to a 49-20 lead. UNLV got up with two Blake Decker touchdown passes, and scored late on a 12-yard Shaquille Murray-Lawrence touchdown run, but Nevada controlled the tempo with its ground game and D. 
    What Else? Nevada QB Cody Fajardo completed 5-of-13 passes for 46 yards and three touchdowns with a pick, and ran 13 times for a team-high 143 yards and a touchdowns. Don Jackson ran 22 times for 132 yards, and James Butler ran 11 times for 116 yards 
    – UNLV QB Blake Decker completed 21-of-39 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions, and ran nine times for 50 yards 
    – UNLV RB Shaquille Murray-Lawrence ran 21 times for 135 yards and a score 
    – Penalties: Nevada 11 for 87 yards – UNLV 3 for 35 yards

    Nov. 29 at Boise State 50, Utah State 19 
    And You Care Because … Jay Ajayi rolled through the great Utah State run defense with five touchdown dashes from nine, 19, eight, 62 and one yard out, and the Boise State defense did the rest. Utah State got a blocked conversion attempt for two points, and Kent Myers ran for a nine-yard score, but Ajayi and the Boise State ground game were too much. Grant Hedrick threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to Thomas Sperbeck and a two-yarder to Alec Dhaenens. 
    What Else? Boise State RB Jay Ajayi ran 27 times for 229 yards and five scores 
    – Utah State QB Kent Myers completed 16-of-28 passes for 159 yards with an interception, and ran 11 times for 43 yards and a score 
    – Boise State QB Grant Hedrick completed 18-of-24 passes for 191 yards and two scores 
    – Third down conversions; Boise State 8-of-16 – Utah State 1-of-11 
    Game Rating: D+

    Nov. 29 at San Diego State 38, San Jose State 7 
    And You Care Because … San Diego State didn’t have any problems as Donnel Pumphrey ran for 267 yards and three scores, taking off from 20, one and 35 yards out, and Chase Price and Lucky Radley each ran for scores on the way to a 38-0 lead. San Jose State finally got into the end zone on as 34-yard Andrew Vollert touchdown catch with just under a minute to play. 
    What Else? San Diego State RB Donnel Pumphrey ran 22 times for 267 yards and three scores 
    – San Jose State RB Tyler Ervin ran 17 times for 83 yards 
    – San Diego State QB Quinn Kaehler completed 4-of-15 passes for 34 yards
