Nov. 29 Georgia Tech 30, at Georgia 24 OT 
And You Care Because … Georgia Tech forced overtime on a 53-yard bomb of a field goal from Harrison Butker as time ran out, and Zach Laskey came up with a two-yard touchdown run in the extra frame for the lead. However, the extra point was blocked, giving Georgia the chance for the win, but Hutson Mason was intercepted and the Yellow Jackets came away with the win. The two teams traded scores all game long, but Georgia helped the cause with two early fumbles inside the five. Georgia Tech returned the favor, losing a fumble returned by Damian Swann for a 99-yard score, but the offense answered with a four-yard Laskey scoring run – he ran for three on the day. Georgia took the lead late on a three-yard Malcolm Mitchell catch with 18 seconds to play, but the Yellow Jackets were able to get 21 yards in three plays to set up Butker’s kick. 
What Else? Georgia Tech RB Zach Laskey ran 26 times for 140 yards and three scores

Nov. 29 at Alabama 55, Auburn 44 
And You Care Because … In the highest scoring Iron Bowl ever, Auburn had Alabama in trouble in the third quarter up 33-21 on a Nick Marshall five-yard pass to Quan Bray, and then Amari Cooper went off. The star receiver caught touchdown passes from 39 and 75 yards out, after catching a 17-yarder in the first half, as the Crimson Tide scored 28 straight points to take control. Auburn had to get more aggressive after Daniel Carlson hit three field goals in the first 19 minutes, and that’s when the offense exploded, but through the air with Nick Marshall throwing three touchdown passes including bombs to Sammie Coates from 34 and 68 yards away. Blake Sims had a rocky time early, throwing three interceptions, but he wasn’t pulled, worked with Cooper, and the Tide rolled. 
What Else? Alabama WR Amari Cooper caught 13 passes for 224 yards and three scores. Blake Sims completed 20-of-27 passes for 312 yards and four touchdowns with three picks and ran five times for 23 yards and a touchdown 
– Auburn QB Nick Marshall completed 27-of-43 passes for 456 yards and three touchdowns with a pick

Nov. 29 at Florida State 24, Florida 19 
And You Care Because … Jameis Winston was awful – throwing four interceptions – but he came up with two second quarter touchdown passes to Nick O’Leary from ten and six yards out, and the defense came through with a gamechanging interception return for a score in the first to slow down a Gator roll. Florida took advantage of Winston mistakes early, but settled for three Austin Hardin field goals for a 9-0 lead. Just when it appeared that the Gators were going to score again, FSU’s Terrance Smith picked off Treon Harris and went 94 yards for a touchdown. The Noles took a 21-9 lead on Winston’s two scoring passes, but Florida fought back to pull within nine on a fourth Hardin field goal and a 15-yard Clay Burton touchdown catch. But that was as close as it would get with FSU’s Roberto Aguayo coming up with a 37-yard field goal. The Gators stalled on their final drive, with Harris missing a wide open Demarcus Robinson on fourth down. 
What Else? Florida State QB Jameis Winston completed 12-of-24 passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns with four interceptions, and ran seven times for 16 yards 
– Florida QB Treon Harris completed 13-of-32 passes for 169 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions, and ran nine times for a team-high 41 yards 
– Florida State RB Dalvin Cook ran 24 times for 144 yards and caught two passes for 28 yards

Nov. 29 at Louisville 44, Kentucky 40 
And You Care Because … A wild shootout turned crazy in the fourth quarter after Kentucky’s Mike Douglas returned a fumble 30 yards for a 33-28 lead. Louisville answered right back with a 45-yard DeVante Parker catch, and John Wallace added a 36-yard field goal, but UK took the lead right back with a 14-yard Stanley Williams run. The Cardinals took the lead for good on a four-yard Brandon Radcliff run, and then the defense held as safety Gerod Holliman sealed it with his 14th interception of the season. 
What Else? Louisville QB Kyle Bolin completed 21-of-31 passes for 381 yards and three touchdowns with a pick, and DeVante Parker caught six passes for 180 yards and three touchdowns 
– Kentucky RB Stanley Williams ran 18 times for 126 yards and two scores 
– Kentucky PK Austin MacGinnis hit all four field goals from 22, 45, 40 and 27 yards out

Nov. 28 at Missouri 21, Arkansas 14 
And You Care Because … Missouri took the SEC East title and is off to the championship after Markus Golden forced a late fumble and the offense ran out the clock. Arkansas took a 14-3 lead in the first half on two Brandon Allen touchdown passes, but Mizzou stayed alive with Andrew Baggett field goals from 52 and 50 yards out. The Tigers scored 17 unanswered points with Maty Mauk tying the game in the fourth on a four-yard pass to Jimmie Hunt, and Marcus Murphy gave the Tigers the lead for good on a 12-yard run. 
What Else? Missouri QB Maty Mauk completed 25-of-42 passes for 265 yards and a touchdown with an interception 
– Arkansas QB Brandon Allen completed 13-of-30 for 133 yards and two scores

Nov. 29 at Ole Miss 31, Mississippi State 17 
And You Care Because … Ole Miss ruined Mississippi State’s playoff dream with a third quarter explosion. Down 10-7 after Dak Prescott ran for a one-yard score for the Bulldogs, the Rebels cranked out 17 straight points on a one-yard Jeremy Liggins run, a 39-yard Gary Wunderlich field goal, and one of the highlights of the SEC season, a 91-yard Jaylen Walton scoring dash. MSU tried to pull back in it with a 32-yard Prescott touchdown pass to De’Runnya Wilson, but the Rebels put it away with a 31-yard Cody Core catch from RB Jordan Wilkins. 
What Else? Ole Miss QB Bo Wallace completed 13-of-30 passes for 296 yards and a pick, and he ran for a score 
– Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott completed 22-of-37 passes for 282 yards and a score, and ran 24 times for 48 yards and a touchdown 
– Ole Miss TE Evan Engram caught five passes for 176 yards

Nov. 27 LSU 23, at Texas A&M 17 
And You Care Because … Leonard Fournette came up with a big game, along with a 22-yard touchdown run, but LSU had to hold on late with a Jalen Collins interception snuffing out a final Texas A&M drive. The Aggies started out the scoring with a 41-yard Trey Williams run, but LSU came back with 20 straight points with Fournette’s run, a ten-yard John Diarse touchdown catch and two Trent Dominigue field goals. The Aggies fought back, pulling within three in the final seven minutes with a 27-yard Speedy Noil catch, but LSU was able to answer back with a key 43-yard Colby Delahoussaye field goal forcing A&M to go for a late touchdown. 
What Else? LSU RB Leonard Fournette ran 19 times for 146 yards and a score, and QB Anthony Jennings completed 12-of-21 passes for 107 yards and a score with a pick, and ran 14 times for 119 yards

And You Care Because … Deshaun Watson ran for two touchdowns and threw for two more, hitting Artavis Scott for a scored from 53 and 70 yards out, with the second scoring play helping Clemson pull away in the third quarter. South Carolina scored first on a 20-yard Pharoh Cooper run, but the Tigers went on a run as Watson ran for a one-yard score and Wayne Gallman ran for a five-yard score. The Gamecocks only managed a 47-yard Elliott Fry field goal and a 12-yard Damiere Byrd touchdown catch the rest of the way. 
What Else? Clemson QB Deshaun Watson completed 14-of-19 passes for 269 yards and two scores, and ran five times for 13 yards and two touchdowns 
– South Carolina QB Dylan Thompson completed 21-of-39 passes for 249 yards and a score 
– Clemson RB Wayne Gallman ran 27 times for 191 yards and a touchdown
