    Nov. 28 Navy 42, at South Alabama 40 
    And You Care Because … Down 15 with just over eight minutes to play, South Alabama rallied on a 48-yard Brandon Bridge touchdown pass to Shavarez Smith with just over five minutes to play, and came up with a ten-yard touchdown pass to Jereme Jones with 39 seconds to play to pull within two, but the two-point conversion attempt failed after two penalties. The Jaguars had a 17-7 lead in the first quarter helped by Smith’s three-yard touchdown grab, but Navy roared back with the first of Keenan Reynolds’ three touchdown runs scoring on a 67-yard dash and with two one-yard runs, taking the lead for good midway through the fourth on the final Reynolds score. The South Alabama D held late, and the offense stepped up until the two-point conversion misfire.
    What Else? Navy RB Keenan Reynolds ran ten times for 119 yards and three scores and completed 1-of-4 passes for 42 yards 
    – South Alabama RB Terrance Timmons ran 15 times for 124 
    – Navy RB Noah Copeland ran 17 times for 112 yards and two scores

    Nov. 29 Texas State 54, at Georgia State 31 
    And You Care Because … Georgia State scored first on a 21-yard Wil Lutz field goal, and then it was all Texas State scoring 34 straight points with a Tyler Jones running for two scores and throwing for two more, and Will Johnson hitting two field goals. The Panthers made it interesting thanks to Nick Arbuckle’s four touchdown passes, including a 75-yarder to Robert Davis, but two more Johnson field goals, a 60-yard Terrence Franks run, and a 60-yard pick six from David Mims. 
    What Else? Texas State RB Robert Lowe ran 20 times for 146 yards 
    – Georgia State QB Nick Arbuckle completed 32-of-46 passes for four touchdown with two picks 
    – Texas State QB Tyler Jones completed 26-of-32 passes for 267 yards and two scores, and ran nine times for 65 yards and two touchdowns 
    – Total yards: Texas State 607 – Georgia State 516

    Nov. 29 at Georgia Southern 22, ULM 16 
    And You Care Because … Georgia State’s running game worked to control the game, but it had a hard time putting points on the board, getting a ten-yard Kevin Ellison run in the third and a one-yard Matt Breida run for the lead in the fourth, but it was Alfred Ramsby’s seven-yard scoring run with just over five minutes to play for a 22-13 advantage. ULM came up with two huge pass plays with a 63-yard Rashon Ceaser touchdown catch and a 36-yard Ajalen Holley scoring play going into the fourth, but only managed a 47-yard Justin Manton field goal the rest of the way. 
    What Else? Time of possession: Georgia Southern 36:33 – ULM 23:27 
    – Rushing yards; Georgia Southern 333 – ULM 19 
    – Georgia Southern QB Kevin Ellison completed 8-of-19 passes for 136 yards, and ran 20 times for 104 yards and a score 
    – ULM QB Pete Thomas completed 28-of-45 passes for 307 yards and two touchdowns

    Nov. 29 Louisiana-Lafayette 42, at Troy 23 
    And You Care Because … The Ragin’ Cajuns ran for 344 yards with Elijah McGuire running for two scores – including a 75-yarder – and Alonzo Harris running for three scores with two one-yarders as part of a run of 21 unanswered points. Troy kept up in the first half with Brandon Silvers throwing three touchdown passes, but the offense stalled in the second half and was hurt by two turnovers. 
    What Else? Third down conversions: ULL 9-of-13 – Troy 3-of-11 
    – Louisiana-Lafayette RB Elijah McGuire ran 14 times for 169 yards and two scores, Alonzo Harris ran 17 times for 86 yards and three touchdowns 
    – Troy QB Brandon Silvers completed 29-of-34 passes for 262 yards and three touchdowns 
    – Louisiana-Lafayette QB Terrance Broadway completed 14-of-19 passes for 142 yards, and ran 14 times for 78 yards and a score

    Nov. 29 at Arkansas State 68, New Mexico State 35 
    And You Care Because … Arkansas State rolled up 764 yards of total offense including 469 on the ground with Fredi Knighten throwing two touchdown passes and running for two scores, and Michael Gordon taking off for three touchdowns, but it took a while before the floodgates opened. New Mexico State took a 21-20 lead in the first half on an 80-yard Larry Rose run and a 75-yard Gregory Hogan touchdown catch, but Gordon ran for two scores and Knighten ran for a score to get up 20. The ASU defense closed it out with a 46-yard Andrew Tryon pick six. 
    What Else? Arkansas State QB Fredi Knighten completed 15-of-21 passes for 296 yards and two scores with two interceptions, and ran 15 times for 153 yards and two touchdowns 
    – New Mexico State QB Tyler Rogers completed 28-of-43 passes for 314 yards and four scores with two interceptions, WR Gregory Hogan caught nine passes for 162 yards and three touchdowns 
    – Arkansas State RB Michael Gordon ran 18 times for 143 yards and three scores, and Johnston White ran 12 times for 110 yards 
    – Penalties: Arkansas State 14 for 107 yards – New Mexico State 10 for 80 yards

    Nov. 29 at Appalachian State 45, Idaho 28 
    And You Care Because … Marcus Cox ran for two touchdowns and Taylor Lamb threw three scoring passes as ASU pulled away after a tight first half. Lamb found Shaedon Meadors on a 59-yard scoring play and Tacoi Sumler came up with a 32-yard touchdown catch, but it was Cox’s one-yard scoring run late in the first half that started to get it going for the Mountaineers, who scored 21 straight to take over. Idaho got two touchdown runs from Elijhaa Penny. 
    What Else? Appalachian State RB Marcus Cox ran 25 times for 122 yards and two scores 
    – Idaho QB Matt Linehan completed 21-of-37 passes for 208 yards and a score with an interception 
    – Appalachian State QB Taylor Lamb completed 13-of-20 passes for 223 yards and three touchdowns with an interception, and ran six times for 30 yards 
    – Penalties: Idaho 12 for 145 yards – Appalachian State 7 for 70 yards
