With each passing week, it’s looking more and more like the Baylor-TCU tilt on November 27 will decide who’s going to represent the conference in the College Football Playoff. The Horned Frogs are picked to run the table and face Alabama in the Cotton Bowl, while the Bears will still be playing in a New Year’s Six bowl.
Texas, fresh off of its upset victory over rival Oklahoma, improved its bowl outlook and is now slated to meet Rice in the Heart of Dallas Bowl. The Longhorns will need to win four of their last six to become eligible for postseason play.
Below are the complete Big 12 bowl projections following Week 6. A total of eights are slated to play in a bowl game, while Iowa State and Kansas are left out in the cold.
