Pac-12 bowl projections following Week 6. The Stanford Cardinal and Utah Utes are emerging as the conference's College Football Playoff contenders.
No Oregon in a bowl game? Not many people would have thought that coming into the season, but that’s a real possibility six games in. The Ducks are 3-3 after an upset loss at home against Washington State, and the remaining schedule doesn’t get any easier.
Stanford, which has rebounded nicely from an season-opening loss to Northwestern, is doing its part to get back into the College Football Playoff picture by winning four straight games.
The Utah Utes have the most impressive resume so far in the Pac-12, with wins over Michigan and California.
USC fired head coach Steve Sarkisian this week. Despite the shakeup, the Trojans have more than enough talent and a capable coaching staff in place to finish the season out strong.
Below are the complete Pac-12 bowl projections following Week 6. A total of eight teams are projected to go bowling, while Oregon, Oregon State, Colorado and Washington State are left on the outside looking in.
