    Clemson vs. Miami (FL)

    Date: Saturday, October 24

    Kickoff
    : 12:00 p.m. ET

    Venue
    : Sun Life Stadium

This one is going to be a hard hitting affair in South Florida. Clemson brings a top 10 defense into the game, but Miami, led by QB Brad Kaaya, will find ways to put points on the board. It won’t be enough, though, as the Tigers defense will rise to the occasion in the fourth quarter.

    Pick: Clemson

    Spread: Clemson -6.5

    NC State vs. Wake Forest

    Date
    : Saturday, October 24

    Kickoff
    : 12:00 p.m. ET

    Venue
    : BB&T Field

The Wolfpack’s backfield of QB Jacoby Brissett and RB Matt Dayes will be tough for the Demon Deacons  to stop. The Wake defense gave up 538 yards to UNC last week, and will have to limit the points for NC State as the Deacons ranks No. 122 in the nation in scoring offense. The Wolfpack get it done on the road.

    Pick: NC State

    Spread: NC State -10.5

    Pittsburgh vs. Syracuse

    Date
    : Saturday, October 24

    Kickoff
    : 12:00 p.m. ET

    Venue
    : Carrier Dome

The Panthers defense has been solid in Pat Narduzzi’s first year in Pittsburgh, which is off to a surprising 5-1 start. Orange QB Eric Dungey will have to have a huge day for Syracuse to stay in the game, as the offense depends on his play. Pitt will wear down ‘Cuse for a close win.

    Pick: PIttsburgh

    Spread: Pittsburgh -6.5

    Louisville vs. Boston College

    Date
    : Saturday, October 24

    Kickoff
    : 12:30 p.m. ET

    Venue
    : Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium

Both the Cardinals and Eagles bring tough defenses into this game. The difference will be the fact that Louisville can move the ball, and has a lot more options on the offensive side, which will lead to a two score win for the Cardinals.

    Pick: Louisville

    Spread: Louisville -8

    North Carolina vs. Virginia

    Date
    : Saturday, October 24

    Kickoff
    : 3:30 p.m. ET

    Venue
    : Kenan Stadium

The surprising 5-1 Tar Heels have an explosive offense, led by QB Marquise Williams and RB Elijah Wood, and will face a Cavaliers defense that is ranked 109th nationally in yards per play. The matchup does not set up well for Virginia, which will be reflected in a big win for North Carolina.

    Pick: North Carolina

    Spread: North Carolina -17.5

    Virginia Tech vs. Duke

    Date
    : Saturday, October 24

    Kickoff
    : 3:30 p.m. ET

    Venue
    : Lane Stadium

The Blue Devils have won with defense and special teams, while the offense has done just enough to get them to 5-1. The Hokies have been disappointing on both sides of the ball. That trend continues this week as Duke edges out Virginia Tech on the road.

    Pick: Duke

    Spread: Virginia Tech -2.5

    Florida State vs. Georgia Tech

    Date
    : Saturday, October 24

    Kickoff
    : 7:00 p.m. ET

    Venue
    : Bobby Dodd Stadium

The Seminoles have found an offensive rhythm behind QB Everett Golson and RB Dalvin Cook, and will face a Yellow Jackets defense that has allowed 30 points in each of the last five games. The FSU defense will have to focus on stopping the triple-option attack of Tech, which rushed for 376 yards against Pitt last week. This will be a closer-than-expected game, with Florida State edging out Georgia Tech by a touchdown.

    Pick: Florida State

    Spread: Florida State -6
