ACC football predictions and schedule for Week 12 of the 2016 season. After both being upset at home in Week 11, both Clemson and Virginia Tech will look to lock up their divisions with wins in Week 12.

The ACC’s elite took a big hit in Week 11, as last week’s games started with a Duke upset over North Carolina. That seemed to seal the Coastal Division title for Virginia Tech, until the Hokies were upset by Georgia Tech in Blacksburg. The biggest upset, however, was Clemson suffering its first loss of the season at the hands of Pitt.

The good news for Hokies and Tigers fans alike is that both teams control their own destiny when it comes to making it to the ACC Championship Game. The Tigers can clinch their berth this week against Wake Forest, while the Hokies will have to wait another as they step out of conference to take on Notre Dame.

Elsewhere in the conference, Florida State will look to break the curse of the No. 17 ranking, where teams ranked No. 17 have lost in eight straight weeks, including UNC last week.

ACC action will start on Thursday as Heisman-favorite Lamar Jackson and Louisville will step out of conference to face Tom Herman’s Houston Cougars.
