Clemson Grad Transfer Adrian Baker Schedules 4 Official Visits, Potentially More To Come

Clemson grad transfer Adrian Baker has scheduled four official visits, with more to potentially come. He will be eligible to play immediately.

Four schools will receive an official visit from Adrian Baker, a former Clemson Tigers cornerback.

Life after Clemson for cornerback Adrian Baker is starting to take shape. Baker, who plans to graduate this semester and finish his final year of eligibility with a new team, has four official visits lined up, one of which is to a fellow ACC program.

According to Ryan Bartow of 247Sports, the former Clemson cornerback will take trips to Oklahoma State (March 4), Iowa State (March 10), Wake Forest (March 17) and Arizona State (March 30). UCF and West Virginia could also receive visits, however nothing is set as of now.

It was previously reported that Baker would visit the Texas Tech Red Raiders on March 10, however that date has been replaced by the Cyclones.

Baker was sidelined during Clemson’s championship run last season because of a torn ACL. After redshirting his freshman year, he saw limited playing time in 2014 and 2015. In total, he played 266 snaps over the course of 15 games with three starts.

The Tigers pulled Baker out of South Florida as a highly-rated recruit. He was ranked the No. 197 overall prospect in the country in 2013, but unfortunately never met the lofty expectations coming in, mainly because of injury. He would have seen a much larger role in 2016 had it not been for the torn ACL.

Now he has an opportunity to end his collegiate playing career on a high note.

Baker will be eligible to play immediately due to NCAA graduate transfer rules.
