    The Air Force Falcons will welcome the Georgia State Panthers to Falcon Stadium afternoon. 

    Head coach Troy Calhoun is looking to improve his team to 2-0 a week after the Falcons took down Abilene Christian, 37-21. Air Force put up 21 points in the second quarter to go into halftime with a 28-7 lead. The Falcons were outscored 14-9 in the second half but held on for the win.

    As for Georgia State, it enters this matchup at 0-1 after falling to Ball State last week, 32-21. It was a close game until the fourth quarter when the Panthers surrendered 14 points. 

    This will be the second meeting between the Falcons and Panthers. They first met on Sept. 13, 2014, in Atlanta. Air Force took that game, 48-38. This is the final game of a home-and-home series.
