It’s been a busy start to 2017 on the recruiting trail for the nation’s No. 1 wide receiver, Amon-Ra St. Brown. The offers continue to come from top programs around the country for St. Brown. In the last two months, Auburn, Florida, Louisville, Ohio State and Ole Miss have all extended a scholarship. St. Brown now holds nearly two dozen.

As for who’s pursuing him the most at the moment, it’s a collection of California and Midwest schools.

“I’ve been talking a lot of schools right now,” St. Brown told Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports. “I’d say Michigan, Notre Dame, Stanford and I just talked to Cal and Ohio State. Those are the teams really hitting me up right now.”

As if often the case with recruits of St. Brown’s caliber, early playing time is a major factor in his recruitment. He’s the type of player that can make an impact as soon as he steps on campus. At 6’1 and 190 pounds, he has fantastic combination of size and speed, and his ball skills are incredible.

Notre Dame is considered by many to be the frontrunner at this time, while rival USC is also firmly in the mix to land the Santa Ana, California prospect. There’s also interest in Trojans rival UCLA.

St. Brown is ranked the No. 10 overall player in the country for the 2018 recruiting class.
