AP Top 25 College Football Rankings – Week 3

AP Top 25 college football rankings heading into Week 3 of the season have Florida State moving up, Clemson and Georgia dropping down, and Arkansas and Florida moving in.

Alabama unsurprisingly remains atop the AP Top 25 college football rankings heading into Week 3 despite coach Nick Saban saying it was the worst he’s ever felt after a victory. The rest of the poll had plenty of movement.

Florida State moved into the No. 2 spot thanks to a second straight mediocre performance from Clemson, which dropped to No. 5 – behind Ohio State and Michigan – after struggling in a 30-24 home win over Troy. Georgia had a more significant drop after its victory, falling from No. 9 to No. 16 as a result of its 26-24 win over Nicholls – a 55-point underdog entering that contest.

Lamar Jackson pushed Louisville into the No. 10 spot, and Arkansas jumped into the poll at No. 24 after its thrilling double-overtime win over TCU, which dropped out.

Here are the full rankings heading into Week 3 of the 2016 college football season.
