Arizona vs. Utah prediction, online live stream and TV broadcast information for Saturday’s game.

The No. 9 Arizona Wildcats will travel to Salt Lake City to battle the No. 22 Utah Utes on Saturday.

The Wildcats (22-6, 10-5 Pac-12) lost their conference lead to Oregon with their loss to the Colorado Buffaloes Wednesday night. Colorado had the lead for the entire second half and held a 75-72 lead with 51 seconds remaining. Three turnovers later gave Arizona the ball back with under 10 seconds to play. Alonzo Trier fired a three to tie, but it missed, and Dominique Collier corralled the board to seal the win. The ‘Cats had a decent percentage from the field overall (46.8 percent), but were just 3-of-11 from downtown and trailed in both rebounding (35-34) and turnover (11-9) categories. Ryan Anderson was Arizona’s primary scorer with a team-high 19 points along with his 10 rebounds for his 14th double-double of the season.

The Utes (22-7, 11-5 Pac-12) have been rolling to end the regular season, having won their last five games including a complete blowout of Arizona State on Thursday night. Utah got out to an astounding 30-2 lead early and never looked back. During that impressive stretch, the Utes held the Sun Devils to just 1-of-16 from the field and forced 10 Arizona State turnovers. It didn’t get much better for ASU as Utah held it to 25 percent shooting on the night, blocked eight shots and outrebounded the Sun Devils, 47-41. On a night where the starters got some much-needed rest, Brekkott Chapman led the Utes with 15 points in 20 minutes off the bench.

Arizona and Utah will meet for the first time this season and the 59th all time. The Wildcats have won the last 12 matchups, but the Utes are 19-10 in the series when they play at home.

Below is everything you need to know about the matchup, including the Arizona vs. Utah prediction, online live stream and TV broadcast info, and game notes.

    Prediction

The Utes are on a tear, and Arizona is coming off a disappointing loss and is upset about court stormings. Bad news for the Wildcats: there’s another one coming.

The matchup to watch is the battle of two studs in the low post: Ryan Anderson and Jakob Poeltl. Look for Poeltl to get the better of this matchup as he is a great passer and will hit his supporting cast for good looks, while getting his own in the points and rebounds columns.

Arizona is looking to redeem itself and get back on top of the conference, so it won’t go down easily, but Utah will prevail in a Pac-12 classic. Cue the court storm.

     Prediction: Utah 80, Arizona 77

    Game Notes

    • Ryan Anderson has recorded a double-double in 14 of his 27 appearances this season on his way to averaging 16.0 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.
    • Utah is looking to continue its season-long trend of turning defense into offense. The Utes outscored the Sun Devils 25-2 in points off turnovers Thursday night.
    • Arizona has lost its six games this season by a total of 21 points for an average margin of defeat of just 3.5 points. UA has not lost a game by double digits in its last 17 losses going back to its 89-78 loss at USC on Feb. 27, 2013.
