Ben Obomanu might not have taken Criminal Law yet, but the shirt he wore at the University of Alabama School of Law could be seen as a heinous act in some parts of Alabama.
In a tweet from Aaron Suttles of the Tuscaloosa News, Obomanu is seen wearing a “State of Auburn” t-shirt, showing who he supports in one of the most bitter rivalries in college sports.

Obomanu has a good reason to wear that shirt. A standout receiver at Auburn from 2002-05, Obomanu caught 97 passes for 1,313 yards and 18 touchdowns during his four-year career. He also played years in the NFL, six with the Seattle Seahawks and one with the New York Jets.
The Selma, Alabama native was valedictorian of his graduating class at Selma High School and will be entering the University of Alabama School of Law this fall.
While Alabama might currently have bragging rights in the state, Obomanu’s classmates might want to think twice about talking smack to him. Obomanu’s Auburn teams went 4-0 against the Crimson Tide.
