    Final Score: at Baylor 70, Rice 17

    1. Rice scored first on the opening drive with a 37-yard Hayden Tobola field goal. Down 14-3, Rice also scored in the first on a 24-yard Dennis Parks touchdown catch. But Seth Russell and the Baylor offense couldn’t be stopped, with three first quarter touchdown passes and a 28-pound run after the Parks score for a 42-10 lead.

    2. Russell found Corey Coleman on touchdown passes from 16, 35 and 32 yards out. Shock Linwood ran for an 11-yard score and Terence Williams ran for a seven-yard touchdown – the Bears rolled at will.

    3. Rice only managed seven points in the second half on a five-yard Darik Dillard run. Baylor scored 28 unanswered points.

    – Seth Russell completed 12-of-16 passes for 277 yards and six touchdowns. Corey Coleman caught six passes for 100 yards and three scores.

    – Shock Linwood ran 16 times for 158 yards and a score, and Terence Williams ran 19 times for 111 yards and a touchdown.

    – Penalties: Baylor 14 for 145 yards – Rice 9 for 70 yards.

    Rice

    – Driphus Jackson completed 10-of-17 passes for 115 yards and a score.

    – Rice was outgained 793 yards to 246.

    – Jowan Davis ran 12 times for 32 yards.
