Bears QB Seth Russell has been great this year, throwing for more than 1,900 yards and 27 TDs in only six games. He will be licking his chops as he goes up against a Cyclones secondary that gives up a lot of yards, including 515 against Texas Tech. Iowa State won’t be able to keep pace with Baylor.

Texas vs. Kansas State

The Longhorns season seemed dead until their upset win over Oklahoma two weeks ago. Now, they host a Kansas State team that can’t find much offense anywhere. The Wildcats won’t make mistakes, but Texas has too much talent in this one.

Oklahoma vs. Texas Tech

Venue: Memorial Stadium
Which Oklahoma team will show up: the one that looked lifeless against Texas, or the juggernaut that destroyed Kansas State last week? The Sooners will have to be ready to put up points, because Texas Tech can score in a hurry. This will be a shootout for a while, but Oklahoma pulls away in the end.

Oklahoma State vs. Kansas

The Jayhawks showed improvement last week against Texas Tech, but they are still 0-6 and in desperate need of a win. The desperation won’t be enough against an undefeated Oklahoma State squad that is head and shoulders better than Kansas across the board.
