Texas’ win over Notre Dame made it seem like the Longhorns finally had a national contender under Charlie Strong. After losing to Cal, that’s going to be a debate again.

Oklahoma’s loss to Ohio State dropped it to 1-2 for the first time since 2005, and no Big 12 team currently looks like a contender for the College Football Playoff.

Here’s a look at where we see the rest of the Big 12 heading into Week 4.

Week 4 Big 12 Football Rankings

    10. Iowa State

    Completely outmatched against TCU.

    9. Kansas

Memphis crushed the Jayhawks 43-7. Ouch.

    8. Texas Tech

The Red Raiders got in another shootout and won this one with Louisiana Tech.

    7. West Virginia

Had the week off after beating Youngstown State last week.

    6. Kansas State

Looked strong out of the bye week and crushed FAU.

    5. Oklahoma State

The Cowboys got a big home win over Pittsburgh to shake off the sting of the Central Michigan loss.

    4. Oklahoma

The Sooners were no match against Ohio State, which went into Norman and rolled Oklahoma.

    3. Texas

The loss at Cal is going to sting for awhile.

    2. Baylor

Not the big rout many expected, but the Bears still beat Rice rather easily.

    1. TCU

Didn’t have much trouble with a bad Iowa State team.
