Big 12 Football Schedule, Game Times For Week 12

The Big 12 football schedule for Week 12 features four games, including two matchups with huge College Football Playoff implications.

A noon kickoff in Lawrence gets us started on Saturday as the West Virginia Mountaineers look to add more misery to the season for the winless Kansas Jayhawks. The Jayhawks are 0-10 in Coach David Beaty’s first season in charge, including a close loss to TCU last week in Fort Worth. The Mountaineers will be looking to gain bowl eligibility with a sixth win on the season.

Also at noon, Iowa State will try to rebound after a close loss to Oklahoma State when the Cyclones travel to Manhattan to take on Kansas State. The Cyclones have struggled this season with a 3-7 record, but played well in the 35-31 loss to the undefeated Cowboys last week. The Wildcats have struggled as well and are on the verge of missing the bowl season after a 59-44 loss to Texas Tech last week that dropped their record to 3-6.

Oklahoma State will look to remain unbeaten and on course for a spot in the College Football Playoff when No. 10 Baylor comes to town at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Bears suffered their first loss of the season last week against Oklahoma, 44-34, while Oklahoma State escaped Ames with the close win against Iowa State.

At 8:00 p.m. ET, No. 7 Oklahoma will look to keep its name in the running for a playoff spot when the Sooners host No. 11 TCU in Norman. The Sooners have been on a roll since their only loss to Texas and quarterback Baker Mayfield has been lights out. TCU QB Trevone Boykin suffered an ankle injury in the win last week against Kansas, but is expected to play.
