The Red River Showdown between Oklahoma and Texas kicks off the Week 6 Big 12 football schedule. Game time is set for noon from the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. The Sooners have won four out of the last five against the Longhorns, including a 31-26 victory last season.
In another 12:00 p.m. ET start, No. 3 Baylor will try to keep its perfect record intact against Kansas. The Bears offense is averaging more than 63 points per game so far this season, good for first among all FBS teams.
Another explosive offense will take the field at 3:30 p.m. ET in Lubbock as the Texas Tech Red Raiders host the Iowa State Cyclones. The Red Raiders are averaging 603 yards per game, good for third in the FBS. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has thrown for 1,836 yards in five games, averaging 367 passing yards per game.
After a tough loss in Norman to Oklahoma, West Virginia returns to Morgantown to host the 5-0 and No. 21 Oklahoma State Cowboys in a 7:00 p.m. ET start. The Cowboys are coming off a close, 36-34 win against Kansas State.
In a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff, No. 2 TCU will seek to remain perfect and on the path to the College Football Playoff when the Horned Frogs visit Manhattan to battle the 3-1 Kansas State Wildcats. TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin has thrown for 1,802 yards and 19 touchdowns this season.
