    Nov. 1 TCU 31, at West Virginia 30 And You Care Because … TCU rallied late down 31-20 with a six-yard B.J. Catalon touchdown run with over seven minutes

    Nov. 1 TCU 31, at West Virginia 30 
    And You Care Because … TCU rallied late down 31-20 with a six-yard B.J. Catalon touchdown run with over seven minutes left and, helped by a 40-yard pass play to Kolby Listenbee, a 37-yard Jaden Oberkrom field goal as time ran out for the win. West Virginia got up 13-0 on a 23-yard Mario Alford catch and two Josh Lambert field goals, but TCU had the lead in the third after Trevone Boykin ran for a two-yard score and with a first quarter 47-yard touchdown pass to Deante Gray. The Mountaineer momentum came back with a five-yard Dreamius Smith run and a 35-yard fumble return for a touchdown from Terrell Chestnut, but on the day, five turnovers proved to be costly helping the Horned Frogs take over. Catalon kept the Horned Frogs alive with a 23-yard touchdown run late in the third, but Lambert appeared to give WVU the lead for good with a 23-yard field goal. It was all TCU the rest of the way. 
    What Else? Turnovers: West Virginia 5 – TCU 2 
    – West Virginia QB Clint Trickett completed 15-of-26 passes for 162 yards and a score with two interceptions 
    – TCU QB Trevone Boykin completed 12-of-30 passes for 166 yards and a touchdown with an interception, and ran nine times for 49 yards and a score 
    – TCU RB B.J. Catalon ran 20 times for 105 yards and two touchdowns

    Nov. 1 Texas 34, at Texas Tech 13 
    And You Care Because … The Texas offense ran without a problem as Malcolm Brown scored from three yards out in the second and one-yard away in the fourth, and Johnathan Gray added a 17-yard touchdown dash as part of a run of 24 unanswered points. Texas Tech had the lead thanks to a six-yard Kenny Williams run in the second quarter, but the offense stalled time and again the rest of the way. 
    What Else? Texas RB Malcolm Brown ran 22 times for 116 yards and two touchdowns 
    – Texas Tech QB Vincent Testaverde completed 15-of-26 passes for 116 yards and a pick, and Patrick Mahomes completed 13-of-21 passes for 109 yards 
    – Texas WR John Harris caught five passes for 165 yards 
    – Texas QB Tyrone Swoopes completed 13-of-25 passes for 228 yards and a touchdown

    Nov. 1 at Kansas State 48, Oklahoma State 14 
    And You Care Because … Kansas State got on a scoring run and it never looked back. Oklahoma State scored on the first drive with a two-yard Tyreek Hill run, but Morgan Burns answered for KSU with a kickoff return for a score. The Wildcats went on a 45-point run, with Jake Waters throwing two touchdown passes and Charles Jones scoring from six and three yards away. OSU didn’t get back on the board until midway through the fourth on a pick six of Joe Hubener by Ramon Richards, taking is 38 yards for the score. 
    What Else? Kansas State QB Jake Waters completed 19-of-28 passes for 223 yards and two scores, and ran nine times for 34 yards 
    – Oklahoma State RB Tyreek Hill ran 18 times for 102 yards and a touchdown 
    – Kansas State WR Curry Sexton caught nine passes for 159 yards and a score 
    – Total yards: Kansas State 421 – Oklahoma State 261

    Nov. 1 at Baylor 60, Kansas 14 
    And You Care Because … Everything worked for Baylor as Corey Coleman caught touchdown passes from 72 and 49 yards out and Chris Callahan hit four second quarter field goals on the way to the easy win. Kansas made it 13-7 BU with a 28-yard Nick Harwell touchdown run, but the Bears held a 39-7 first half lead and got up 53-7 after Levi Norwood scored from ten yards out. Devin Chafin and Shock Linwood each added one-yard touchdown runs. 
    What Else? Total yards: Baylor 669 – Kansas 304 
    – Baylor QB Bryce Petty completed 15-of-27 passes for 277 yards and three touchdowns, and ran seven times for 11 yards 
    – Kansas QB Michael Cummings completed 21-of-30 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns 
    – Baylor WR Corey Coleman caught three passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns

    Nov. 1 Oklahoma 59, at Iowa State 14 
    And You Care Because … Trevor Knight had a huge day with three touchdown passes and three rushing scores, taking off for touchdowns from 31, eight and nine yards out, and found Blake Bell for touchdown throws from five and 17 yards away. The Sooner offense was unstoppable on the way to a 45-7 lead, despite the loss of star receiver Sterling Shepard, who left with a leg injury. Iowa State broke up the scoring with an 18-yard Sam Richardson run, but it was all Knight and all OU despite three turnovers. 
    What Else? Oklahoma QB Trevor Knight completed 22-of-35 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions, and ran 16 times for 146 yards and three scores 
    – OU RB Alex Ross ran 13 times for 144 yards, and Samaje Perine ran 17 times for 110 yards and a score as the Sooners ran for 510 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 11.1 yards per carry 
    – Iowa State QB Sam B. Richardson completed 15-of-40 passes for 239 yards and a score, and ran ten times for 20 yards and a score 
    – Total yards: Oklahoma 751 – Iowa State 334
