    And You Care Because … Texas picked a great time to come up with one of its best rushing performances of the season as Johnathan Gray ran for touchdowns from 39 and two yards out and Nick Rose hit a 39-yard field goal for a 24-3 lead. West Virginia fought back in the fourth quarter with touchdown runs from Dreamius Smith and Wendell Smallwood, but Gray put it away on a 15-yard touchdown run with just over three minutes to play. 
    What Else? Texas RB Johnathan Gray ran ten times for 101 yards and three touchdowns, and Malcolm Brown ran 20 times for 90 yards 
    – West Virginia WR Kevin White caught 16 passes for 132 yards 
    – Texas QB Tyrone Swoopes completed 11-of-29 passes for 124 yards and a score with an interception 
    – Third down conversions: Texas 4-of-15 – West Virginia 3-of-17 (3-of-5 fourth downs)

    Nov. 8 at TCU 41, Kansas State 20 
    And You Care Because … Trevone Boykin ran for three touchdowns including a wild flip for a score, and he threw a ten-yard scoring pass to David Porter as TCU took control early and never let go. Kansas State got a 70-yard touchdown catch from Tyler Lockett, and Curry Sexton caught a 15-yard scoring play, but TCU always had an answer with Jaden Oberkrom hitting two 26-yard field goals and Aaron Green running for a 65-yard score. The Horned Frogs were up 41-14 before KSU scored late on a six-yard Joe Hubener run. 
    What Else? TCU QB Trevone Boykin completed 23-of-34 passes for 219 yards and a score, and ran 17 times for 123 yards and three touchdowns 
    – Kansas State WR Tyler Lockett caught 11 passes for 196 yards and a touchdown
    – Time of possession: TCU 35:18 – Kansas State 24:42 
    – TCU RB Aaron Green ran 18 times for 171 yards and a score

    Nov. 8 at Kansas 34, Iowa State 14 
    And You Care Because … Kansas exploded for 24 first half points getting up on touchdown runs from Corey Avery and Tony Pierson along with a 20-yard Jimmay Mundine catch. Iowa State tried to come back with two Grant Rohach touchdown passes to E.J. Bibbs and D’Vario Montgomery, but Michael Cummings ended the threat late in the third on a one-yard Jayhawk touchdown run. 
    What Else? Kansas RB Corey Avery ran 17 times for 103 yards and a score, and Tony Pierson ran 17 times for 101 yards and a touchdown 
    – Iowa State QB Grant Rohach completed 25-of-50 passes for 275 yards and two touchdowns with an interception 
    – Total yards: Kansas 514 – Iowa State 373 
    – Iowa State WR D’Vario Montgomery caught eight passes for 130 yards and a score

    Nov. 8 Baylor 48, at Oklahoma 14 
    And You Care Because … Oklahoma got out to a 14-3 on two short touchdown passes from Trevor Knight, and then it was all Baylor the rest of the way with 45 unanswered points starting with a second quarter explosion. Devin Chafin ran for two short scores and Bryce Petty found Corey Coleman for a 33-yard touchdown, but that was just the beginning. Coleman ran for a five-yard score and Shock Linwood added touchdown dashes from three and 15 yards out as everything worked for the Bears and nothing seemed to move for the Sooners. 
    What Else? Baylor WR Corey Coleman caught 15 passes for 224 yards and a score, and ran two times for seven yards and a touchdown 
    – Before getting carted off the field with an injury, Oklahoma QB Trevor Knight completed 12-of-27 passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns with an interception 
    – Baylor QB Bryce Petty completed 32-of-42 passes for 387 yards and a score 
    – Third down conversions: Baylor 8-of-19 (4-of-4 on fourth down) – Oklahoma 4-of-13 (0-of-2 on fourth down)
