The Big 12 Tournament concludes Saturday at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO, with Kansas going up against West Virginia. The Jayhawks knocked off Baylor and the Mountaineers toppled Oklahoma in the Friday semifinals to set up the Big 12 championship game.

While the winner will receive the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, both teams have already punched their ticket. Instead teams will compete for bragging rights and Tournament seeding. If Kansas wins, the Jayhawks will likely be the top seed in the Midwest region, where they would play the opening round in Des Moines, Iowa.

The depth of the Big 12 has been its strong suit all season, which could result in as many as seven bids overall for the Tournament.

• Entering its 7th season at the Sprint Center, the Big 12 Tournament will continue to be held in Kansas City until at least 2020
• Two-time defending champion Iowa State was eliminated this season in the quarterfinals. Seeded fourth and second entering its two championships, the Cyclones entered this season as the sixth seed
• Kansas coach Bill Self has the most wins in Big 12 Tournament history with 24, and the highest winning percentage of any coach with more than five games coached
