After a one-game suspension, J.T. Barrett is back and will start for the Buckeyes if he has a good week in practice, according to head coach Urban Meyer. No matter who is throwing the ball, the Fighting Illini’s defense is going to have a tough time stopping Ohio State. That being said, the Illini will make this early road game interesting, but the Buckeyes find a way to win again.

Michigan State vs. Maryland

The Spartans suffered their first loss of the season last week against Nebraska, but are still in the Big Ten title hunt. The MSU defense will play hungry and feast on a Terrapins offense that is last in the nation in turnover margin at -18.

Northwestern vs. Purdue

This one will be shaped by defense, as are most Northwestern football games. Purdue’s offense is all but nonexistent, and the defense will have a tough time stopping Justin Jackson. The ‘Cats make it look easier than it has been lately.

Nebraska vs. Rutgers

Indiana has lost five straight games, but the Hoosiers are better than their 4-5 record. Michigan likes to grind on offense and then let its defense stifle opponents. The Hoosiers will find the end zone, though, and make this one interesting before the Wolverines ice it late.
