Nebraska vs. Northwestern

Kickoff: 12:00 p.m. ET

Venue: Memorial Stadium

The Cornhuskers have started to put things together and broke out for a big, 48-25 win over Minnesota last week. Northwestern has had a tough couple of weeks after opening the season with five straight wins. It’s going to be another long day for the Wildcats, who won’t be able to get anything going offensively against Nebraska’s defense.

Wisconsin vs. Illinois

Date: Saturday, October 24

Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. ET

Venue: Memorial Stadium

Both the Badgers and Illini have struggled at running the ball this year, an anomaly for a Wisconsin team that prides itself on pounding the rock. Badgers QB Joel Stave has been good at managing the game, though. Stave and the Wisconsin defense will rise to the occasion for an ugly win.

Penn State vs. Maryland

Date: Saturday, October 24

Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. ET

Venue: M&T Bank Stadium

Both passing games have struggled mightily this season, with the Terrapins throwing for over 200 yards just once and tossing a whopping 17 interceptions. The Nittany Lions will try to get the running game going, as QB Christian Hackenberg has been disappointing. Maryland will do all it can, but the Penn State front seven controls this game for the win.

Michigan State vs. Indiana

Venue: Spartan Stadium

Michigan State is a week removed from a miracle win at Michigan last week. Could the Spartans be looking at a letdown against an Indiana team that’s played tough this year? Not this week. QB Connor Cook will hit a couple of big drives to ice this game.

Ohio State vs. Rutgers

Venue: High Point Solutions Stadium

Now that the quarterback situation is solved with J.T. Barrett having been named the starter, the Buckeyes hope to have more consistency on offense. Barrett will have a solid outing, keeping the Buckeyes out in front while the defense figures out the Rutgers attack. Ohio State pulls away in the second half.
