    Bowling Green

    – Matt Johnson completed 36-of-55 passes for 491 yards and six touchdowns with a pick. Roger Lewis caught 15 passes for 200 yards and two scores, and Robbie Rhodes caught two passes for 108 yards and a score

    – Bowling Green outgained Maryland 692 yards to 341

    – The Falcons held on to the ball for almost 38 minutes. The one downside? Ten penalties

    Maryland

    – Perry Hills completed 15-of-30 passes for 168 yards and two scores with a pick, and ran eight times for 94 yards

    – What really killed Maryland? Turnovers. The Terps gave it away four times and couldn’t keep things moving, converting just three of 12 third down chances.

    – The new 4-3 defensive alignment? Apparently it’s not quite working. It was fine against the run, but it didn’t do anything to come up with a late stop against the Falcon passing attack.
