Brett McMurphy’s AP Top 25 Ballot After Week 10

Here's Stadium College Football Insider Brett McMurphy's AP Top 25 ballot after Week 10.

With half of the nation’s top-10 teams off last week, including four of the top five, my Associated Press ballot this week is nearly identical to last week’s.

My top five remain the same: LSU, Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson and Penn State. The biggest change in my top 10 is moving Georgia up from No. 8 to No. 6 after the Bulldogs knocked off No. 6-ranked Florida. With the Gators’ second loss, UF fell down to No. 12 on my ballot.

The remainder of my top 10 after Georgia is No. 7 Oregon, No. 8 Utah, No. 9 Baylor and No. 10 Minnesota.

The biggest teams to climb on my ballot this week were Wake Forest, from No. 21 to No. 18, and Memphis, from No. 24 to No. 21.

Of the 25 teams on my ballot last week, Appalachian State was the only one that dropped out of my rankings this week. Navy (7-1) replaces the Mountaineers at No. 25.

    My AP ballot (last week):

    1. LSU (1)
    2. Ohio State (2)
    3. Alabama (3)
