Brett McMurphy’s AP Top 25 Ballot for Week 5: Michigan, UCF Drop Out Entirely

Here's Stadium College Football Insider Brett McMurphy's AP Top 25 ballot for Week 5.

Stop me if you’ve heard this before: the top of my Associated Press Top 25 ballot remains unchanged again. My top seven are the same for a third consecutive week: Clemson, Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, Ohio State and Auburn.

After that, only two of my remaining 18 teams have the same ranking as last week.

The biggest jump – appropriately enough – comes from Wisconsin (jump around, Badgers) after UW routed Michigan. The Badgers moved up seven spots to No. 8 on my ballot.

Five teams fell out of my rankings: Michigan, UCF, Arizona State, Washington State and Oklahoma State. New teams on my ballot this week: USC, Kansas State, Washington, SMU and Wake Forest.

My AP ballot (last week’s ranking):

    1. Clemson (1)
    2. Georgia (2)
    3. Alabama (3)
    4. LSU (4)
    5. Oklahoma (5)
    6. Ohio State (6)
    7. Auburn (7)
