Brett McMurphy’s College Football AP Top 25 Ballot for Week 4

Here's Stadium College Football Insider Brett McMurphy's AP Top 25 ballot for Week 4.

My Associated Press ballot doesn’t look much different than last week, certainly not at the top. My top nine teams remain the same – No. 1 Clemson, No. 2 Georgia, No. 3 Alabama, No. 4 LSU, No. 5 Oklahoma, No. 6 Ohio State, No. 7 Auburn, No. 8 Notre Dame and No. 9 Utah.

In all, 23 of the 25 teams from last week are still on my ballot.

Florida moved into my top 10, from No. 11 to No. 9, after its wild, come-from-behind victory at Kentucky.

Another Florida school, UCF, made the biggest jump on my ballot as the Knights climbed seven spots to No. 18 after thumping Stanford.

Only two teams dropped from my rankings: No. 18 Mississippi State and No. 19 Michigan State, after both teams lost a home, non-conference game to Kansas State and Arizona State, respectively. Moving into my top-25 rankings this week are Arizona State at No. 24 and Oklahoma State at No. 25.

Here’s my AP ballot (last week):

    1. Clemson (1)
    2. Georgia (2)
