After last week’s tough loss to No. 9 BYU, Western Kentucky will fight to return to the win column against a talented FAU team. In order to do so, Hilltoppers QB Tyrrell Pigrome needs to take advantage of all scoring opportunities and put points on the board for an offense that’s only averaging 16.6 points per game.
If FAU wants to improve to 3-1 in the conference, they’ll need their loaded defense to show up on Saturday. By only allowing 13.3 points per game, Florida Atlantic is currently ranked at No. 8 in points allowed — the category that defensive coordinators care about the most.
The Owls lead the all-time series 8-3, including three straight wins. FAU also has an 82.6 percent chance of winning according to ESPN’s Football Power Index.
