Ex-Clemson defensive tackle Scott Pagano will be taking official visits to both Notre Dame and Oklahoma at the end of March.

Former Clemson defensive tackle Scott Pagano already has one national championship in his collegiate career. With one year left of eligibility, he is looking to join a program that has the opportunity to win another.

Pagano, who announced he will transfer from the Tigers, will be taking official visits to powerhouse programs Notre Dame and Oklahoma, with the trip to South Bend being on March 24 and to Norman on March 31, respectively.

A part-time starter for the Tigers, Pagano will be eligible immediately due to the NCAA graduate transfer rule, as he will graduate from Clemson this May.

Pagano has received interest from a lot of schools since his decision, earning 37 offers. He has narrowed that list down to seven schools, with the Fighting Irish and Sooners joining Cal, Oregon, Nebraska, Texas and Arkansas as possibilities for his landing spot.

Interestingly, his former head coach Dabo Swinney stated that Pagano would most likely spend his final year out West and closer to his home of Honolulu. The only two schools that would fit that bill are Cal and Oregon. While no date has been set, Pagano is set to take an official visit to meet with the Ducks, while Golden Bears defensive line coach Jerry Azzinaro recruited him out of high school.

(UPDATE: Per 247Sports, Pagano has set a third official visit, this time with the Arkansas Razorbacks. He will visit head coach Bret Bielema and his coaching staff on April 7-9.)
