As teams across the country try to get eligible for the postseason, there has been some shakeup to the latest bowl projections.
With its impressive home win over Washington State, Colorado now takes a spot in the Rose Bowl, which had Utah as the Pac-12 rep last week. The Utes, however, were stunned at home by Oregon, which just may stick with Mark Helfrich after all.
Meanwhile, LSU lost its spot in the Sugar Bowl following its loss to Florida in Baton Rouge. Three-loss Tennessee is now the scheduled opponent for Oklahoma.
There’s a new MAC kid on the block, as Miami (OH) makes its first appearance in the projections. The RedHawks are scheduled for a date with Southern Miss in the Heart of Dallas Bowl.

John O’Korn made his first start for the Wolverines at quarterback, and the redshirt junior struggled to lead an offense that was averaging 45 points and 232 yards through the air. Jim Harbaugh’s squad will now get ready for the regular-season finale against Ohio State.
Meanwhile, the Tigers had something to prove after a last-second loss to Pitt. Clemson reeled off touchdowns on its first four possessions to take a 28-0 lead and held Wake Forest to 197 yards in the win.

The Crimson Tide arguably endured their least-impressive performance of the season in a win over FCS Chattanooga, and left tackle Cam Robinson left with a shoulder injury. However, Saban expects him to be able to play in the Iron Bowl, where Nick Saban will look for his third straight win over Gus Malzahn.
Meanwhile, the Huskies snapped a 10-game losing streak to Arizona State despite a slow start, which was erased with a 21-point second quarter that helped put Chris Petersen’s squad fully in control.
