Bad News For Tigers – Clemson will be without the services of starting wide receiver Hunter Renfrow for at least four games on account of him suffering a broken right hand in the game against Troy this past Saturday.
Harris or Etling? – That is the question on everyone’s mind in Baton Rouge, and LSU head coach Les Miles will not announce who will be the starter when the Tigers take on Mississippi State this Saturday. Harris was pulled from the game against Jacksonville State after continuing to struggle to move the offense.
Gundy Makes A Statement – After losing to Central Michigan on a Hail Mary pass that only occurred due to the referee crews’ error, Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy says he only wants referees from Power 5 schools to officiate the Cowboys’ home games.
“In a contract with a Power 5 school, you’re going to exchange officials on your one-to-one games. Otherwise, I would not go into a game without Big 12 officials,” Gundy said. “We’re playing a school that does not want to use our officials, you move on and find another school.”
The Mid-American Conference crew that blew the call, allowing Central Michigan an untimed play after Oklahoma State tried to run out the clock and committed intentional grounding, has been suspended by the conference for two weeks.
