Is there a more underrated show to ever appear on television than The Critic? Jon Lovitz at his finest along with some great recurring characters. It was biting commentary on the entertainment business. Too bad it was panned by critics and didn’t bring in ratings. I absolutely loved it. I think I might watch some reruns tonight on YouTube. In fact, that is now my plan for tonight.

In college football news, Oregon is in the process of firing co-offensive coordinator David Reaves after he was arrested for a DUI, Auburn hired Chip Lindsey as offensive coordinator, and Cal has hired Marques Tuiasosopo as the Golden Bears quarterback coach. Here are some other newsworthy notes in the latest college football news roundup.

New OC Delights Barrett – When deciding to return for his senior season at Ohio State, the hiring of a new offensive coordinator was a key positive factor for quarterback J.T. Barrett.

“Something new,” Barrett said. “Change is also a good thing. Change is not always bad. I think it was needed. It was not like we were awful by any means. We’ve got the train running, we just got to make sure it’s going full speed.”

Barrett threw for 2,555 yards and 24 touchdowns while rushing for nine more scores in 2016.

Benvenuti, Coach Harbaugh – Oh, you just knew that Jim Harbaugh would have an answer to the NCAA banning him taking his team to Florida for spring break practice. His response? Let’s just take the team to Italy!

Per Mark Snyder, Harbaugh and the Wolverines are planning a trip during the final week of spring practice in Rome and also making it an educational experience for his players.

This will, in no way, incite the fury of coaches nationwide.

Looking Good, Coach – Arkansas fans might find head coach Bret Bielema to be a bit more well-groomed this season, and it has to do with the Razorbacks now having their own barber shop inside their locker room.

The aptly named “Razorshop” has two chairs waiting for whoever needs a trim. This unfortunately means that Bielema will not show up with a mullet anytime soon.
