O-H B-Y-E – The Ohio State Buckeyes will be missing one of their best players on defense next season as standout redshirt sophomore defensive back Malik Hooker has decided to enter the NFL Draft.

“I have talked with my family and we have decided its [sic] best for me to forgo [sic] my remaining two years of eligibility and declare for the 2017 NFL draft.”

Hooker was a ball hawk in 2016, leading the Buckeyes with seven interceptions.

Baylor Hires Co-Offensive Coordinator – Ten days after agreeing to be Ole Miss’ wide receiver coach, Matt Lubick is now heading to Waco after being hired as Baylor’s co-offensive coordinator. Lubick had spent the last four season at Oregon and is considering one of the top recruiters in the nation.

Thanks For The Memories – Brad Kaaya made it official on Monday evening by declaring for the NFL Draft.

“While I am looking forward to pursuing my future endeavors, I am going to miss our fans, media, students, administrators, coaches, families, and most importantly my teammates, who were with me through the good times and the tough times,” Kaaya said in a statement released by the Hurricanes.

Considered one of the top quarterback prospects in the draft – a likely high first round pick – Kaaya leaves Miami as the program’s all-time leader in attempts, completions and passing yards.
