Happy St. Patrick’s Day to everyone. I mean, the actual one. Not the one we celebrated this past Saturday here in Chicago. I’m sure a bunch of you will be taking advantage of it being both St. Paddys and NCAA Tournament time and get out of work early and hop onto a barstool. That sounds like a great plan to me! Enjoy and be safe.

In college football news, the latest edition of SEC Football Vibes came out and wondered if Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema would unblock yours truly on Twitter, LSU impressed a quarterback recruit this past weekend, and we take a look at the best returning tight ends in the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, and SEC. Here are some other newsworthy notes in the latest college football news roundup.

Looking Out For Men’s Health – Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is always an interesting Twitter follow, but his latest post has a good message to men.

“Attacking this day with an Enthusiasm Unknown To Mankind before my 1:30 PM colonoscopy kickoff…#ColonCancerMonth,” he posted on Twitter.

Let’s hope that test results came back clean for Harbaugh.

Don’t Call It A Comeback, Part I – Most men at the age of 45 are more apt to hit the golf course or tennis court. Not for Greg Morris, who is attempting to become a walk-on at Clemson.

“I tell my wife, I say, ‘What if I was a walk-on last year and made the team and was able to get a national championship?’” Morris laughed. “It would be amazing. It’s an opportunity that was given, and just being able to make it would be a dream come true.”

    I’m cheering for him.

Don’t Call It A Comeback, Part II – David Ash hasn’t seen action on the football field since 2014, when he retired from playing due to suffering from symptoms from multiple concussions.

Now, he is attempting to resume his playing career after being cleared to play. He will throw at Texas’ upcoming pro day on March 28.
