    Colorado 48, UMass 14 In Three Things

    1. It was a battle early, and then Colorado dominated the rest of the way with the running game. With the game tied at 14 in the second quarter, the Buffs rolled from there scoring 34 unanswered points.

    2. The Buffs got an early touchdown run from Christian Powell and a first quarter dash from Sefo Liufau, and then everyone got into the act as the O line took over. Powell finished off the scoring with a 35-yard touchdown in the third, and Liufau found Nelson Spruce for an 18-yard touchdown

    3. UMass tied it at seven on a two-yard Jamal Wilson run and at 14 on an 18-yard Marken Michel scoring grab.

    Colorado

    – Sefo Liufau completed 15-of-24 passes for 168 yards and a score

    – Michael Adkins II ran 19 times for 119 yards and a score. Christian Powell ran eight times for 105 yards and two touchdowns

    – Colorado outgained UMass 390 yards to 147 on the ground

    Massachusetts

    – Blake Frohnapfel completed 20-of-34 passes for 25 yard and a touchdown with an interception

    – Tajae Sharpe was Tajae Sharpe, catching 11 passes for 138 yards

    – The Minutemen only had the ball for around 24 minutes. The defense couldn’t get off the field.
