We have a battle between the Patriot League and the Ivy League in this matchup of Columbia (0-1) and Georgetown (2-0). The Hoyas come in off a bye week following back-to-back wins against Davidson and Marist, in which Georgetown outscored their first two opponents, 58-31. As for the Lions, well, they’re trying to rebound from a season-opening loss to Saint Francis, 13-9.

This is a homecoming game for Georgetown, who defeated Columbia in last season’s matchup, 24-16. They’re battling for the Lou Little Trophy, which was established last year. Lou Little coached at Georgetown from 1924 to 1930 and at Columbia from 1930 to 1954. This is the fourth time the two schools will meet, and the Lions lead the series, 2-1.
