Conference USA Football Schedule, Game Times For Week 6

A key conference matchup in Huntington on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. ET between Marshall and Southern Miss kicks off the Week 6 Conference USA football schedule. The game could be a preview of the conference championship in December, as both teams are currently tied for their division lead.

A couple of noon games get things started on Saturday, as Middle Tennessee heads into Bowling Green to try to upset 4-1 Western Kentucky. The Hilltoppers open conference play with a 49-10 beatdown of Rice last week in Houston. In the other game, UTEP and FIU will both look for their first conference win in a battle in Miami.

At 2:30 p.m. ET, Rice will travel to South Florida for a matchup against Florida Atlantic in a battle of the Owls. Both teams lost last week in their conference openers.

North Texas will venture out of the conference against the Portland State Vikings. The Mean Green are still looking for their first win of 2015, having started 0-4.

In the night matchup, Louisiana Tech travels to San Antonio to take on the UTSA Roadrunners. The Bulldogs are 1-1 in conference play, while UTSA started its conference play with a victory over UTEP in El Paso last Saturday.
