I am 100 percent a believer in what Scott Frost is doing at UCF. I love that he stuck with the Knights instead of bolting back to Eugene – not even entertaining offers. Normally, a 6-6 season would be ehhh— but after going 0-12 last season, it’s safe to say 2016 was a success for UCF. And I believe Frost will lead the Knights to their first bowl win since 2013. McKenzie Milton will protect the football long enough to help UCF build a lead, and the Knights will come away with a nail-biting win.

The Knights have been a bit inconsistent at quarterback, as McKenzie Milton has tossed nine touchdowns against seven interceptions. Meanwhile, the rushing attack is ranked No. 96 in the nation. However, linebacker Shaquem Griffin has recorded 11 sacks and was named AAC defensive player of the year. That UCF defense will pose problems for Red Wolves signal-caller Justice Hansen. Keep an eye on running back Warren Ward, though, as he will be going against a UCF defense that is susceptible to the run. Expect this to be a bit of a defensive struggle, but I like the Knights because they should have a nice crowd in attendance supporting Scott Frost’s rebuild effort.

Scott Frost is still at UCF? How is that possible after 17 head coaching positions were available? I just figured he had put his Orlando-area house on the market back in November. Wow.

He’s doing a heck of a job with the Knights, hopefully bringing them back to the success of when Daunte Culpepper and Blake Bortles were throwing BBs for them. UCF wins.
