    Resume

    Team: Dayton Flyers

    Record:
    25-7

    Conference:
    Atlantic 10

    Head coach:
    Archie Miller

    How they got here:
     At-large bid

    The Good

The Flyers faded down the stretch, but this is a team that won some good games this year and spent time in the rankings. Charles Cooke is great in transition. He can rebound and can knock down the open jumper, and he needs to be at his best for the Flyers to win. Forward Dyshawn Pierre provides balance in the lineup.

    The Bad

Dayton has looked a little tired and out of sync as of late, and that’s a huge concern. The offense can struggle when Cooke’s shots aren’t falling, and when the Flyers have to look to manufacture offense, that’s when things can go awry.

    Prediction

Dayton is going to be a sexy pick to win a couple of games, and it should be. This is a team that beat four RPI top 50 teams. But it’s boom-or-bust with this group. The Flyers are capable of getting blown out, too, which means a second-round exit wouldn’t be a surprise at all.
