Duke vs. Florida State prediction, online live stream and TV broadcast information for Thursday’s game.

The No. 15 Duke Blue Devils will welcome the Florida State Seminoles to Cameron Indoor Stadium Thursday night.

The Blue Devils (20-7, 9-5 ACC) saw their five-game winning streak come to an end Saturday with a 71-64 loss to the Louisville Cardinals. The Dukies led for most of the game until the Cards used an 8-0 run to regain the lead for good. Subsequently, Grayson Allen fouled out with less than four minutes remaining. With Allen out, the Blue Devils were down to just five players down the stretch (including an ailing Derryck Thornton) and were unable to come back. Louisville won the game by holding a big advantage over Duke in paint scoring (36-22) and forcing 18 Blue Devils turnovers. Before fouling out, Allen had a monster game for Duke with a game-high 29 points on 8-of-12 shooting. Meanwhile, Brandon Ingram appeared to have run out of gas. The freshman had just eight points and committed a team leading 10 turnovers.

The Seminoles (16-11, 6-9 ACC) have seen better days, as they have lost their last four contests, including an 83-73 loss at Virginia Tech last time out. Florida State had a seven-point lead with less than nine minutes remaining in the game, but the wheels came off after that as Virginia Tech finished the game on a 25-9 run. The Hokies scored on 10 of their last 12 possessions of the game on their way to their best shooting percentage of the season (52.8 percent). Four of the Seminoles’ five starters landed in double figures, led by Dwayne Bacon, who finished with a team-high 22 points.

Saturday will mark the first meeting between Duke and Florida State this season and the 44th all-time. The Blue Devils lead the series, 34-9, and have won the last three games over the Seminoles.

    Prediction

When the Blue Devils are playing well, Cameron Indoor is the last place you want to be. But if the Seminoles want to pull off the upset, they may want to take a page out of Louisville’s book.

Duke is shorthanded with all of the injuries and is completely reliant on Grayson Allen and Brandon Ingram. Florida State needs to attack those two, get them into foul trouble and make Duke’s limited bench beat you. However, it’s difficult to see that happening to the Blue Devils’ stars at home. Expect Allen to learn from his mistakes last time out and Ingram to bounce back from a disappointing outing.

The Seminoles will hang around due to the Blue Devils’ lack of depth, but Duke will pull away when it matters.

Prediction: Duke 84, Florida State 76
