    FAU comes into this game at 3-7 and has won two games in a row after taking down Rice and UTEP. The Owls needed those victories after dropping seven games in a row to Miami, Kansas State, Ball State, FIU, Charlotte, Marshall and Western Kentucky.

    As for Old Dominion, it enters this game at 7-3. The Monarchs riding a three-game winning streak. Last time out, they took down Southern Mississippi, 51-35.

    Last season’s meeting between FAU and Old Dominion ended in a 33-31 win for the Owls. This will be the third meeting between the two teams, and both have won a game thus far.

    • In the last two weeks, Devin Singletary has the program’s all-time top two games for all-purpose yards. Versus Rice the freshman had 288 all-purpose yards and versus UTEP he tallied 245 yards.
    • The Owls have recorded seven games with 100 or more rushing yards. It marks just the second time in the program’s history to reach seven.
    • Quarterback Jason Driskel earned FAU Male Athlete of the Week honors after his stellar performance versus UTEP. Driskel was 20-25-1 for 233 yards and one TD on Saturday and he rushed for another 79.

    Old Dominion Game Notes

    • The Old Dominion defense tied a school record forcing five turnovers in last week’s win over Southern Miss. The Monarchs set a school record with five forced fumbles, and tied a school record with four fumble recoveries.
    • Senior linebacker TJ Ricks had 11 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries to lead to the defense. Fellow senior backer Anthony Wilson registered a career-best 17 tackles, one off Ricks’ school record, one sack and 1.5 tackles for loss.
    • Sophomore running back Jeremy Cox ran for a career long 67-yard touchdown run, while Ray Lawry rushed 17 times for 71 yards and two touchdowns. Cox also had a three-yard run to give him 12 on the season.
