Fordham vs. Bucknell online live stream information and game preview

The No. 16 Fordham Rams will welcome the Bucknell Bison to the Bronx Saturday in a Patriot League affair.

The Rams (7-2, 3-1 PL) are coming off a shocking loss to the Colgate Raiders last week and relinquished the top spot in the conference. The Raiders stifled the Rams defensively, limiting Fordham to just nine points through three quarters. The Rams stormed back in the fourth quarter with 20 points and an opportunity to tie the game on the final play of regulation, but Kevin Anderson’s pass was batted down by Kyle Diener to seal the win for Colgate. Anderson had another stellar performance for Fordham connecting on 34-of-49 passes for 379 yards (both career-highs) and four touchdowns. Anderson’s ability to pass so frequently was due to the containment of Chase Edmonds. The Raiders might have laid out the blueprint to stall the Rams, as they limited Edmonds to 51 yards rushing on the day, slowing the high-powered Rams offense.

The Bison (4-4, 1-2 PL) snapped their three game losing streak last week with a 35-24 win over Lafayette on the road. R.J. Nitti led the way for Bucknell, hitting 15-of-26 passes for 241 yards and a career-tying four touchdown passes. Nitti’s finest play was a 55-yard strike to Will Carter in the fourth quarter that proved to be the go ahead score for the Bison. Bucknell’s defense also had a hand in the victory, recording a season-high five sacks and forcing four Lafayette turnovers on the day.

Fordham and Bucknell will hookup for the 31st time since the two squads first met in 1929. The Bison lead the all-time series by a 18-12 count, but the Rams have won the last two meetings.
