1. Georgia had no problems with Southern, getting up 17-0 in the first half with Nick Chubb catching a 24-yard touchdown pass and Sony Michel running for a seven-yard score.

2. Southern got on the board with a 16-yard Lenard Tillery touchdown run, but Georgia answered with 31 unanswered points.

3. Chubb ran for a 49-yard touchdown and a nine-yard score in the third, and Michel tore off a 58-yard scoring run.
