Holy Cross vs. Lehigh: Online Live Stream, Watch Here

The Lehigh Mountain Hawks will play host to the Holy Cross Crusaders for Military Day on Saturday in a Patriot League matchup.

The Mountain Hawks (4-4, 2-1 PL) have won two of their last three games, including last week’s 33-28 thriller at home over Georgetown. Freshman Brad Mayes made his first career start for Lehigh and didn’t disappoint, tallying 214 yards through the air, two touchdowns, and most importantly no interceptions. Dominick Bragalone (20 car, 169 yards) and Troy Pelletier’s (11 rec, 99 yards, 2 TD) big performances also contributed to the win. The Hoyas put together a 14-point fourth quarter to scare the Mountain Hawks, but Lehigh was able to recover an onside kick and run out the clock to secure its fourth win of the season.

The Crusaders (4-4, 1-2 PL) are hoping to extend their current two-game winning streak. Last time out, the Crusaders pulled out a 34-33 victory in the final seconds to defeat the Bryant Bulldogs. Down 33-31, Peter Pujals led the Crusaders on a 39-yard drive in seven plays to set up Connor Fitzgerald for the 31-yard game-winning field goal. Pujals finished with 361 yards of total offense and two touchdowns, while Brendan Flaherty had another strong game hauling in a career-high 13 receptions for 141 yards and two total touchdowns. Flaherty has now totaled a Patriot League-best 76 catches for 742 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The Mountain Hawks and Crusaders will matchup for the 31st time on Saturday, with Lehigh holding a 16-13-1 edge. The Mountain Hawks are looking to avenge last season’s 27-20 loss to Holy Cross.
