North Carolina had no problems with the Illini, getting up 10-0 in the first helped by a seven-yard Romar Morris run, and got big production from Marquise Williams, who threw three touchdown passes including a nine-yarder to Quinshad Davis in the second and a 24-yard play to Ryan Switzer in the third on the way to a 48-7 lead.
2. Illinois made it 13-7 on a one-yard Josh Ferguson run, but wouldn’t get back into the end zone until late on a one-yard Chayce Crouch run.
