Three-Star PF Jamal Cain Reveals Top Four Schools

Three-star power forward Jamal Cain has released his top four schools. Cain is the No. 21 power forward in the 2017 class.

The nation’s No. 21 power forward and No. 5 power forward in the Midwest has trimmed his list of schools down to four.

Jamal Cain, a 3-star big man out of the Cornerstone Academy in Taylor, Michigan, has revealed the final four schools in the running to land his services. His list includes representation from the ACC,, Big East, Big Ten and SEC.

In alphabetical order, Cain’s top schools are Florida State, Georgia, Marquette and Michigan.

At this point, Cain has taken an official visit to Michigan, which is where he received his offer from the Wolverines back on April 27.

Cain’s recruitment started picking up steam after his string of extraordinary performances with Nike’s EYBL team. His domination at this national stage caused big-time programs to take notice, and his stock has risen ever since.

The 6-foot-6, 170 pound big man provides a unique blend of skill and physicality. Cain can stretch the floor and knock down mid-range jumpers and three-point shots at an elite rate. At the same time, he provides a tough presence that attacks the glass and fights for rebounds.

Cain is also an effective force on the defensive end, hustling from start to finish and making life difficult for opposing forwards. He has a fantastic motor and displays leadership on and off the court.

Along with his top four, Cain also had offers from Kent State, Toledo and Xavier. He has also received interest from Michigan State and Washington State.
