Jim Harbaugh hugs a kid in response to his adorable question during Michigan's Youth Day on Thursday.
We are used to seeing Jim Harbaugh yelling at the top of his lungs, his vocal chords getting ready to snap as another player faces his wrath.
But when a little boy hit him with an unexpected question at a press conference during Michigan’s Youth Day on Thursday, we saw a softer side of the new Michigan head coach.
The young Wolverines fan stepped up to the podium and asked Harbaugh, “How much milk do I have to drink to be big enough to be quarterback?”
In response, Harbaugh requested a hug from the boy before telling him to “drink as much milk as his little belly can hold.”
The adorable interaction was caught on video and tweeted out by Michigan’s Twitter account.

Does this mean we are closer to Harbaugh and Ohio State’s Urban Meyer sharing tea? Probably not, but it’s nice to see a coach like Harbaugh, who often times appears more machine than human, show his feelings.
