Kansas Jayhawks Picked To Win Big 12 In Coaches Preseason Poll

Kansas Jayhawks picked to win Big 12 In coaches preseason poll unanimously for the 14th time in the history of the conference

It comes with no surprise: the Kansas Jayhawks are atop the 2015-16 Big 12 Preseason Poll and the unanimous selection to win the conference regular season title.

It was the 14th time in conference history that Kansas was selected unanimously to win the Big 12. The Jayhawks return four starters from last year’s squad led by senior Perry Ellis, who averaged 13.8 points and 6.9 rebounds per game on his way to his first All-Big 12 First Team selection.

Iowa State was the only other team to receive a first place vote. The Cyclones also return four starters and are one of the favorites to challenge Kansas atop the conference, even with new head coach Steve Prohm.
